Spot Pet Insurance vs. Pet Secure Pet Insurance Plans
No Waiting Period for Accidents
Enroll your pet in a Spot plan and have immediate peace of mind knowing their accident coverage starts the next day. There's no waiting period for accidents, giving you quick protection for unexpected injuries. Pet Secure plans have a 48-hour waiting period before your pet’s accident coverage begins.
Multiple Pet Discounts for 2+ Pets
Spot Pet Insurance plans are designed with pet parents in mind. We offer multi-pet discounts to help make caring for your furry family more affordable: 5% off each for two pets, and 10% off each pet for three or more enrolled. Pet Secure doesn't offer any multi-pet discounts for just 2 pets enrolled. You need to enroll at least 3 pets in a Petsecure plan to get a multi-pet discount.
Accident-Only Plan Options
Spot Pet Insurance provides pet parents with flexibility by offering both Accident-Only and Accident & Illness plans. This helps you to choose the coverage that best fits your pet’s needs. I am glad that I took Spot Pet…
I am glad that I took Spot Pet insurance. Easy and quick claiming. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Easy to deal with insurance company.
Spot pet insurance has been very easy to deal with so far. They completed my claim within just a couple of days. Highly recommend.
Easy to Use
Maybe they will have direct billing in the future, but it was easy to upload/email the invoices and veterinary notes. Reimbursement was sent within a week. The only thing I disliked was having to call poison control, which charges in USD. Since they don't do conversions, they only paid what it was in Canadian dollars.
Prompt and professional

10/10, no notes
I have zero complaints about Spot. In fact, I swear by them and strongly recommend. They process the claims really efficiently; one time, I submitted a quote for pre-approval on a Wednesday night and on Thursday morning I had the pre-approval letter. It’s very easy to get someone on the phone too and they’re all helpful and friendly.
