These are the Official Rules for the Tails Out Tour Shelter Contest, sponsored by Spot Pet Insurance Services, LLC ("Spot"), 990 Biscayne Blvd. Suite 603, Miami, FL 33132, in partnership with [Kesha] (“Sponsor Partner”).

No purchase is necessary to participate and cast a vote. Making a purchase will not increase any shelter’s chances of winning.

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1. Open to U.S. Residents.
This Contest is open to legal residents of the United States  who are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (whichever is greater) as of the start of the Contest Period (“Participants”).

Employees, contractors, and agents of Spot, [Kesha], or any related affiliates, and members of their immediate families and households, are permitted to participate in the voting process but may not manipulate or otherwise unfairly influence the results.

1.2. Shelter Eligibility.
Only shelters listed by Spot on the official contest voting page (“Participating Shelters”) are eligible to receive votes and be considered for the prize. Participating Shelters agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Spot, which are final.

Within these Contest Terms, Participating Shelters that receive a monetary donation from Spot Pet Insurance are called “Prize Winners.” The Participating Shelter that receives the most votes is the “Grand Prize Winner.”

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. Contest Period.
The Contest begins on June 6, 2025 after the official Instagram collaboration announcement by Spot and Kesha and ends on July 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET (the “Contest Period”).

2.2.  Voting Method.
During the Contest Period, Spot Pet Insurance will provide a link to the Contest Webpage during the Contest Period. To cast a vote, Participants must enter their email address or phone number in the field provided on the Contest Webpage and cast a vote for one of the Contest’s Participating Shelters. Each vote counts as 1 vote, and each Participant can only vote once per day for a maximum total of 44 votes possible during the Contest period. Contest voting is administered by Gleam, a third-party promotional software platform, via widget on the Spot Pet Insurance Contest Webpage.

Once a vote has been cast, Participants will have the option to continue onto the Spot Quote Form. Obtaining a quote and/or purchasing a Spot pet insurance policy is not required for contest participation and has no effect on the outcome of the Contest.

Only votes verified through Gleam’s tracking will be considered valid.

2.3. Participant Consent.
Participants are not required to provide marketing consent in order to cast a vote or participate in the Contest, and any information provided for the sole purpose of voting will be used exclusively for Contest administration. However, Participants may choose to opt-in to receive marketing communications at the contact information they provided upon Contest Entry.

If a Participant chooses to obtain a quote or purchase a policy from Spot Pet Insurance after voting and provides their email address and/or phone number, they consent to receive marketing communications from Spot and its affiliates in accordance with Spot’s Privacy Policy. This consent is separate from and not required for participation in the Contest.

By participating in the Contest, all Participants consent to Spot’s use of any submitted materials which may include but is not limited to, social media direct messages, photos, or videos, for purposes of Contest administration, promotion, and publicity.

Participating Shelters, regardless of Contest outcome, agree that Spot may use their name, likeness, and image for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

2.4.  Limitations.

• One vote per Participant per day during the Contest Period for a maximum total of 44 votes possible during the Contest period.
• Spot reserves the right to disqualify anyone who submits multiple form entries.
• Spot will not consider ineligible, illegible, or incomplete submissions.
• Spot reserves the right to disqualify votes that it determines to be fraudulent, automated, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the Contest.
• By submitting a vote, Participants and Participating Shelters agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

3. GRAND PRIZE CONTEST WINNER

3.1. Grand Prize Winner Selection.

At the close of the Contest Period, the eligible Shelter with the most verified votes will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, Spot will choose the winning Shelter, and the tiebreaking criteria will be determined at Spot’s sole discretion.

3.2. Grand Prize Winner Notification.

The Grand Prize Shelter Winner (“Winning Shelter”) will be announced by Spot via Spot’s @getspotcovered Instagram profile within 2 days after the Contest Period ends.

If the Winning Shelter does not claim the prize or otherwise cannot be reached within 5 days of the official announcement, they forfeit the prize and the 2nd place Shelter will be selected as the Winning Shelter.

4. PRIZES

4.1. Participating Shelter Prizes - Prize Winners.

1 Vote = $1 USD Donation from Spot

For each vote cast for a Participating Shelter, Spot will donate $1 USD up to $1,000 USD maximum to the Shelter each vote was cast for.

4.2. Contest Winner - Grand Prize.
In addition to the 1 Vote = $1 USD Donation from Spot, the Winning Shelter will also receive an Adoption Event sponsored by Spot that includes:

• Waived adoption fees for all cats and dogs adopted during the Adoption Event
• Goodie Bags from Spot Perks partners gifted to each adopter during the adoption event.
• An Instagram story shoutout from Kesha on Kesha’s Official Instagram account.

The total Grand Prize value is subjective based on the number of pets adopted during the Adoption Event and the total value of the waived adoption fees. The Adoption Event date, length, location and other logistics to be mutually agreed upon by the Spot and the winner. Goodie Bag inclusions and total value are at the discretion of supplies donated by Spot Perks partners. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws. No substitution or cash equivalent is permitted except at Spot’s discretion.

4.3. Prize Conditions.

• Prize winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except at Spot's discretion.
• Individual Participants who cast a vote during the Contest Period are not eligible to win any  prizes.

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS

5.1.  Laws and Regulations.
All federal, state, and local laws apply. This Contest is void where prohibited by law.

5.2. No Responsibility.
Spot and its affiliates, [Kesha and her] representatives, and their respective officers, employees, and agents are not responsible for technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or other causes beyond their control that affect the integrity of the Contest.

5.3. Modification or Termination.
Spot reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the Contest at any time if technical failures, fraud, or other issues compromise the fairness or integrity of the Contest.

5.4. Limitation of Liability.

By participating in the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Spot, [Kesha] and their respective affiliates, representatives, employees, and agents from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or awarding of the prize.

5.5. Privacy.

By voting in this Contest, you agree to the use of your personal information as described in Spot’s Privacy Policy available at: [https://spotpet.com/privacy] and Gleam’s privacy policy available at: https://typeform.com/privacy. Your information may be used for Contest administration and marketing purposes.
